Wing Tzun is a scientific martial art. The advanced technology we teach can be seen in other martial arts and in combat sports. While Wing Chun in general needs to find these answers by cross training, just as JKD does, a WT learns them as a built in part of our redundantcy.
Here we seen 100% rear leg stance and lifting Tok Saus to stop underhooks and a tackle attempt, followed by a step step and 180 degree turn. These are all standard WT methods from both our kickboxing as a groin kick and step back into stance with turn, and from our anti-grappling program.
The Champion could have stepped again to prevent falling, but to earn the victory point, he stalled long enough to let his opponent put a knee down...and then he fell out of the circle too.
