So here we have my second favorite boy in FFXV! First being Noctis and whatnot, but ye ^^
I'm super duper happy with the result of this, y'all!! :3
I began making this yesterday, after I suddenly came across a really fun and great Prompto edit by rysingdawn and this same song. Like, dude, this QUICKLY became my fave song and that became my edit of the day. (Def recommend that y'all check that edit out, it's real good ^^)
I was hit with a massive wave of editing hype, that, honestly, didn't dial down until this was done rendering :D
I thought this chorus fit Prompto and his personality perfectly!!!
As a result, this edit is heavily inspired by theirs!
Some typography here is also inspired by a certain MEP I rewatched yesterday, and my ''Gangsta Sexy'' edit ^^
Time to talk about how the editing process went:
I was quite happy with simply the clip selection, after setting the clips ^^ I was also happy that I didn't need to resort to gifs, and I found out that some clips that rysingdawn used in their video involved the Episode Duscae demo!
Speaking of clips - I'm glad my internet was fast and that I could download even 50 minute long videos in a flash - it helped this whole process become speedier and allowed me to get straight to the point of editing this, like I wanted to.
Even with the hype that I experienced, I still did have a moment where I lost my confidence in making this, and tried to swallow back the thoughts that I'll never make anything good. That happened while I was making the coloring. The first coloring I made for this was like, light blue and yellow with this...ugly blue/yellow 3D effect going on. The longer I looked at it the more I thought it was ugly and unfitting. I then nervously tried to make something else, and this coloring is what I made next. I'm much happier with this one!
From there, the editing process was really quick, yet fun!
What I wasn't feeling in the mood for, tho, was adding so many flickers, so uh, maybe you can't tell, maybe you can, but they are half-assed XD''
Honestly maybe I overdid the flickers a little? Idk, what do y'all think?
Bc when I watching this past 1 AM last night after it finished rendering for the first time (keep in mind that it was dark and whatnot), the flickers didn't really hurt my eyes, but it was kinda, unpleasant to look at XD"'
This morning, after waking up, I fixed some little mistakes in this video. Such as the opacity being decreased on one piece of text when it shouldn't have been, and the general animation of the ''hate on'' text.
Well, there is not too much else to mention about the editing process aside from the fact that I feel like the overlays really added to this edit ^^ Without them, perhaps, this would look more plain.
I also wanna say that in general, I feel like Hollywood Undead songs are really fun to edit with! ^^
Ah, last thing: I think, both this morning and last night, this took 10 minutes and 23 seconds to render ^^
Oh and how could I forget to mention?
I finished playing FFXV 3 days ago at this point, and the game was great, imo ^^ I was left with feeeels XD
I'm currently still in the middle of playing Episode Prompto ^^

Wanted to try out making an edit with sound effects after re-finding this song through other video edits!
This isnt my first attempt at smth like this. Cant recall rn if i have uploaded smth similar to this before, but i do know that i still have one Yugioh edit in the making that is based around sound effects like this one is, however, i dont know when or if i will finish that one. Actually, the flow and feel of this one feels more natural than the YGO one! And in fact, the project/idea of the YGO edit is over a year old at this point :o
Wanted to try editing with some new media too - in this case, Black Butler ^^
I didnt want to make this anything fancy either. Just some small things to help this video look nicer ^^ Also did a small mask in this video - the paper falling thingy! That came from me wanting to use both of those clips but not really knowing which one to keep, but then i saw the paper falling over the screen, and i was like, waaaiitttt XD

Im feeling quite happy with this one! ^^
So making this was a bit of a spontaneous decision, and this was also my first, I think, successful attempt at, more or less properly using raycast :3
The lighting feels a little more natural now, which is good! ^^
I wanted to add an effect that would give Zack and the area near the lights a shadow, but adding this caused a shadow of the Buster Sword appear on Zacks back, and Im not sure why ^^ I didnt want the sword to be there for this, so I removed the effect.
And Zacks glowing mako eyes really do, show a lot here lol
I was also slightly losing it over Zacks hair physics when I was making this bc they look so good XD

Perhaps you might remember that a year back, i had told you about how i had been making a dedication video for you, and it was taking me a long time to finish and i wasnt able to finish it in time for your birthday, and you told me that even if it took me a year to finish it, youd still love it? Well well, look what took me a year to finally finish ;w; x3 I wanted to use characters who are very dear to you, and i kept some of the character ideas i had from last year too - in general i ended up using Nagito, Hajime, Khun, Bam, Wei, and i tried to use Lan as well ^^ In terms of the song choice, i no longer remember how i found this song, but from the sound of it, i found myself wondering if perhaps youd like this kind of song, so i decided to use it :3 I tried to make the clips fit the lyrics a little, and i thought about using Lan more in the second half of the chorus, but i thought that perhaps Wei could fit the hypnotized lyric a little better, so, there he is- owo
Id like to apologize for my absence this year, but im happy that we can continue to grow closer, still ❤️ I hope that you enjoy this video!
About the video:
Granted, for a very long time, i didnt have ideas for this video in general, my brain didnt wanna,,, set clips ;w; but once i got past that, and even during that process, i started to get into the flow more, and then editing this felt easier :3
It was very fun to work with the colors of this, i loved seeing the tones that the purple streaks created underneath the vhs effect :3 It was also just as fun to slowly, slowly get more comfortable with Element 3D when making this x3 In general this was fun to make once i got into it, during/after setting clips ^w^

This is an MMD video I made a while back, on the same day I made my Cloud MMD, if yall have maybe seen that ^^
I found this model and I felt like trying it out, and this was the first motion I tried it on. I feel like the animations look rather nice on it, and from there I decided - why not make a video with this? ^^ Im not quite sure if the arms are supposed to look the way they look when they are twisted like that, but oh well ^^
I do think that this is quite a nice and accurate model of her ^^
Speaking of Yuna, I started playing FFX a while back, and Im really enjoying it so far ^^ I feel like my favorite characters are equally Tidus and Yuna :3
