Here's the May Promotions! I was hoping to get this done yesterday but that didn't happen so I quickly did it today! :D
This month is slightly different in that a lot of these people I was already subscribed to. I'm actually subscribed to a lot of people, and I noticed recently that the majority are really underrated, I just hadn't realised because I don't look at subscriber counts. I thought they had loads so imagine my shock when a lot of really talented vidders only had 200+ subscribers!! Insanity! So yeah included some of them! :D It would have worked better if I had stayed caught up with my subscriptions but i'm 3 weeks behind haha but in the future I'm going to add videos that really amaze me when I watch them to a playlist so that I can promote them!
I'm still doing it the other way too though, but for this month that's why if you asked there aren't many from that forum list in here! :D

I AM CURRENTLY WATCHING SEASON 6. PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ANYTHING. IF YOU DO ILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND CRY A LOT SO PLEASE JUST DONT!
Im not obsessed I promise you haha! HOW PERFECT ARE THEY!? I feel like this season was a bit more angsty, but also not really because the little smiles and laughs just kill me. Sadly I did not get Lukes reaction to Lorelai not getting married, though it is incredible. His sudden change in mood is EVERYTHING!
Also I had to start with more Emily quotes. I LOVE that she knows from the very beginning. We shall ignore her stupidity in season 5!
Anyway, this was more difficult than season 1 and its rather messy, I dont think I can vid this song well. I was so confused by beats and everything haha ah well, just concentrate on the cuteness that is Luke&Lorelai! BUT this song is perfect for them. LIKE SO PERFECT - Say I love you, but youre not listening, can that scream Luke&Lorelai any more perfectly?! SO GOOD!
JUST LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE AND HOW IN LOVE WITH LORELAI LUKE IS AND HOW LORELAI ALWAYS COMES BACK TO LUKE AND HOW SAD IT IS WHEN THEY FIGHT AAH THEYRE JUST SO PERFECT!

SO, I am meant to be working on uni stuff, I just never seem to. These two distract me too much haha. I do hope to do one for every season but obviously that is A LOT of videos, so we shall see :D

Okay so firstly, I just wanted to ask you if possible, not to dislike this video, because its incredibly personal and Id just appreciate it if you didnt :)
Right so this was made for The Oscar Vidding Contest Round 2 where the theme was Biography, and so you had to vid something about yourself. Im kind of nervous about uploading this, but it took me ages because it wasnt easy for me and I really dont want to drop out of this contest so here I am uploading it haha.
FOR JUDGES IF YOU NEED AN EXPLANATION :)
I dont know if I need to explain here about everything, but I might as well. I know this song has a positive vibe and I still edited about slightly depressing things, so it kind of sounds weird at points haha, but I didnt want to use a sad song, I wanted something to represent moving forward :)
So anyway last year, my dad was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer but by the time they diagnosed it, it was too late because it had already spread to his liver so there was nothing they could do. Honestly, my dad dying completely destroyed me; Ive spent all year picking myself up because, although I dont think many people in my life knew or realised, I found it extremely, extremely difficult to keep going. I used to have panic attacks about anything and everything after it happened, I became paranoid, insecure, and that was never who I was. I didnt used to care about what people thought of me, I was very comfortable in who I was and so to suddenly panic about going out and feeling judged really scared me. So I tried to include voiceovers in this to show that, with Dawsons quote about loss of control and then Damons about I cant be what other people want me to be and things :D I hope it shows it well, I didnt go much into it because I did not want to dig up those memories and emotions again!! I just watched two older videos of mine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS2A5aPfJps and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zfp2NqdLHX4) to steal scenes from, as I made those during that time.
Luckily, though I am now much much better, more like my old self than I have been in a year so yay for that and so I tried to concentrate on everything else that makes me who I am around the emotions of losing my dad since that does kind of shape everything these days. I wanted to include more about my mum, but I could not for the life of me find any quotes that would work, but I put some mother/child hugs in because I couldnt just not include her, my mum is like my best friend :) Then theres the dogs bit, which is my favourite bit of the whole video because I included a few actual clips of my dogs, the border collie and the rough collie are mine :D My dogs are everything to me so they had to be put in. Then theres music which has always been a huge part of my life, I love music so much, playing it, listening to it, anything to do with it saves me. I stuck with the instruments I play, so piano, flue and guitar :D Writing is more recent for me, I started last year to help myself and so I dont write often but occasionally I will to calm myself and make sense of things. Though reading back on ones I used to write back when I was a mess is kind of scary, I dont like knowing how lost I was! But yeah I still wanted to include it, then well I can never find anything to represent film making and editing but I put some clips in because YouTube and editing is huge for me, its what I want to do with my life if possible :D I ended with the final quote, because I heard it when I was watching Sleepless in Seattle with my mum one time and I think its beautiful and so real and represents everything I try so hard to do these days; just to get up and keep trying until I no longer have to remind myself to :)
Haha woah that was long, I shouldnt start writing, I never stop haha. I know the editing side of this is horrific, gosh I cannot vid to save my life these days, but I still spent a while hunting down scenes and voiceovers for this so I hope its enough to get me to the next round :D
Ive been thinking about doing a You Pick I Vid video to try and get myself back into vidding again, since theres so many videos Ive been wishing to make but cant because of lack of inspiration, and I thought it might help me get my inspiration back and therefore finish everything. Well see!
Anyway, I know this video is depressing in parts, but I am not like that as much anymore, its just important because it shaped the person I have become in this last year and well I told myself if I was going to make something about myself, it might as well be the whole truth :) Hopefully its not too awful though!!
