In this episode, I'd like to introduce a small concept study of how 3D printing and wood furniture design can be combined. The aim was to find a design that combines wooden elements and printed components and provides sufficient stability. In addition to functionality, aesthetics should include new forms. As a design study, I chose a projector stand. This is a preliminary step for the design of furniture made of different materials. More on that in upcoming videos.
The goal was to find a design that does not require too much space on a table, or the space under the projector can still be used. In addition, the platform for the projector should be pivotable and also lightweight as possible.
