Love unmatched is love unhatched. This is all thanks to Wozzie Mozzie – the Wolbachia-carrying male Aedes mosquitoes!
 
A female Aedes aegypti mosquito can lay about 300 eggs in its lifetime. But when they mate with male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes, all these resulting eggs do not hatch.
 
Continuous releases of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes over time will lower the Aedes aegypti mosquito population and thus, reduce the risk of dengue.
