Throughout 2023 and leading up to CGS Day on 4 Nov 2023, more than 400 environmentally-themed community activities were held across Singapore, involving more than 100,000 participants.
These activities were organised by a wide range of stakeholders, including schools, grassroots organisations, corporate partners, non-government organisations, interest groups, and volunteers. They represent a tremendous investment by the community to drive our shared vision for a Clean and Green Singapore. NEA will continue to support and recognise these efforts.
Here is just a snapshot of three such community events, held in October, each led respectively by Minister, Senior Ministers of State, and Senior Parliamentary Secretary, from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. The events are the Tampines Green & Wellness Festival, International E-Waste Day 2023, and the Community Visit to Tampines North.
