The men of Project GAMMA freeze, fingers tense on triggers and eyes scanning every shadow in the jungle.
This is one of the most elite and secretive units in Vietnam, but as they move toward the Viet Cong encampment ahead, they keep their heads down. Someone out there is hunting for them.
While tearing through the stronghold, an agent finds a roll of undeveloped film at the bottom of a wooden crate.
Images appear in a makeshift darkroom, and one frame makes every man in the room cold.
There he is, one of their own, smiling mid-conversation with uniformed enemy officers.
The unit has been bleeding operators for weeks.
Now they know why.
