In this video, I break down everything revealed in the second Project Diablo 2 Season 12 Developer Stream!
Most importantly, the start date of Season 12 has been revealed. Closed beta is between 15th and 23rd of November, Open beta will be on the 24th and 25th of November and Season 12 will start on November 28th 10AM PST/19:00 CET.
From gameplay changes to new item mechanics, here’s what you need to know:
- Chilling Armor no longer requires ice blast as a prerequisite
- Projectiles maximum pierce count increased from 4 to 12 (tentative value that may change)
- Added Arrow craft recipes (uses same ingredients as shield recipes)
- Reworked Exploding Arrow - It now releases "cluster bomb explosions" behind the hit target in a randomized pattern
- Added a button to upgrade rejuvenation potions and flawless gems
- Split the sound options into multiple sliders for complete customization
- Added a new TC87 unique bow "Crackleshot"
- Added custom artwork for the new elite arrow uniques
- Added the new Anniversary Edition Skins from the 5th Year Anniversary Contest
