PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with The Remains of UAC Episode I from ZPack by various authors on Man And A Half difficulty level for DOOM 2 Hell On Earth, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). ZPACK is a megawad that consists 3 episodes with 9 levels each to be completed, the difficulty curve is various and most of the maps are not huge, lots of them are between 100-200 monsters, some less, some way more. The episode is moderate in its difficulty, seen way harder maps and WADs, here you begin with monsters right next to you very rarely, but there are some ambushes with teleports or fake walls with monsters inside. Another thing is that there are not tons of secrets for you to find, usually there is less than 5 of them for you to find but as always they have really nice stuff for you to find early, including the only BFG at the end of the episode. ZPack also features some custom monsters to the gameplay, for example a really dangerous semi-boss invisible Baron of Hell with wings that throws triple projectiles, has tons of hit points, can take you down quickly and this is an arena fight, yikes. You will also encounter (quite rarely tho) the possessed Marines, who are fairly weak in combat because of their slugish speed but the problem lies in their firepower, they can take you down with one single shot what happened to me few times. Maps are designed around the techbase and Knee-Deep In ZDoom style, you might spot many similarities with that pretty known WAD, layout of the maps is easy to understand and most of the times you will have no problems with navigation. One of the maps is really special, this is the KDiZD Launch Site level, third one in this episode where your objective is timed and you have 400 seconds to finish the map, if not you are basically nuked no matter what you do, so be in hurry. The biggest increase in difficulty begins since E1M7 where this one and next E1M8 are way bigger than previous maps with more monsters, each might take you from 15 to 20 minutes, E1M7 to E1M9 feel like a different episode though. Anyway, features such as crouching, jumping and freelook are pretty much mandatory for you if want to complete this episode and find all secrets, lots of places require jumping or crouching to finish the section.

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). If you remember a previous video from Dragon Sector called Executive Compled, welcome to the next level titled Resources Reclamation which is slightly shorter than previous one but more complex in my opinion. First the map is larger because of the center outdoor area with some monsters but all of them can be skipped honestly, second with activating the secrets you can help yourself really a lot with additional firepower. The pk file with both maps (Executive Complex included) is huge and weighs around 320MB because of the high quality textures, thus if you have a potato PC its good to at least run it with GZDoom GLes version. There is also an addition of plug doors that might be working not properly and get stuck, if it happens you must either press the switch again or simply use noclip if you do not even wish to wait for them to open. You will encounter several custom monsters in here together with Arachnotrons + Octabrains variants that can be met in water areas, Grels that are WTF, champion Cyberdemon, some fleshspawns and custom Cacodemons. I mentioned earlier that it is good to find the secrets because they make the map much easier, there are several Plasma Turrets and drones that will attack the enemies, and they are in really crowded areas too! In case of custom monsters I forgot about the BFG Zombies that are encountered only in place but for sake of avoiding a nasty surprise try to take them down as fast as possible, nothing worse than instant death. To finish the level you have to find three keys around the map, unfortunately the map is pretty linear because well there are no shortcuts, it might be also pretty confusing with revealing the last door to open area. Once outdoor head immediately to the right and find a secret switch to use it, it will activate the Plasma Turrets above to eliminate ALL of the monsters to make an exit from this map really easy.

Mercurial City is a winner of the 15 Years A Doomer competition (the winner received also quite a nice prize), it is a mediocre sized map with a custom skybox (very nice tho) with over 250+ monsters to be eliminated and ultra secret. The difficulty ranges from easy to moderate (in my opinion) but its with Project Brutality 3.0 Man and a Half + Chaotic Random spawn preset included, the biggest problem might come from these annoying Zombie RPVs spawned in open area. Trust me there is nothing worse in open area than multiple Zombie Commandos (these Zombies with red armor and Submachine Guns) that place a beacon and suddenly RPVs arrive and blast you out with their high damaging lasers. A great addon to be played with this map is surely a Meathook/Grappling Hook because in such places where backtracking is needed, you can simply use it to return, for example when exploring the secrets and going back to normal path. The most difficult part of this map might be the beginning where there are Revenants ahead of you, some Pinkies, Imps and basic Zombies on the roof + other multiple monsters around the storage area placed outside. It will be good for you to grab as many secrets as you can because the most crucial are in my opinion first three you can get - this is a Minigun spawn hidden in the Garage, even more secret Soulsphere in same place and Megaarmor in the boxes. The other secrets are not that great but act as a nice gimmicks for example some rocket & cells to be found, two hidden Berserk Packs (one just next to the exit) but you can also find an early Plasma Rifle spawn behind fake wall. The most threatening monsters you can encounter on this map are a Cyberdemon and one or two Arch-Viles to be found, the gimmick with Cyberdemon is his appearance in a very tight and not so long corridor where you are trapped with it. In case of the super super secret, Im leaving it to you how to unlock it :).

BRUTAL TRAILBLAZER Razing Hell together with The Fountainhead, Pale Eyed King from Elementalism by BAAUL for DOOM II Hell On Earth, on Truly Badass Difficulty Level, 100% Secrets Achieved. BRUTAL TRAILBLAZER Razing Hell is a name of a patch that combines an easy option to play a vanilla Trailblazer together with Brutal Doom Monsters addon, so to have it working you need to download 3 files listed in description. If you do not know what Trailblazer is, it is a gameplay modification where Doomguy is slightly overpowered when compared to the vanilla or Brutal Doom, but not as much as in the Guncaster or as extreme as in Russian Overkill. One of the best features of this mod is the crafting system - you can collect the blueprints for many special upgrades such as fireworks for your Uzi, homing grenades, Heavy Machine Gun upgrades or even a fully functional Jetpack. All of the weapons in your arsenal are upgradeable, when you collect enough scrap you must manually upgrade a current weapon with it, once upgraded they get few new features such as lower recoil, magazine capacity, damage or so. Some upgrades are quite unique such as additional Machine Gun for your Skullthrottle, a very accurate and highly damaging addition to your heavy chaingun, really important upgrade because it packs a huge punch against enemies. You might also look for upgrading such weapons like your standard Assault Rifle against weaker enemies, Grenade Launcher that gets lot of new features like damage, rate of fire, accuracy, range, bigger magazine... and this is with one upgrade. There are several ultimate weapons available for you in the arsenal, one of them is a simple gun platform that uses rounds and grenades as ammunition - you are practically a walking tank with this weapon, huge firepower boost for you. The Fountainhead is a last level in the Water Chapter, its not particularly large but before a final battle with a boss, you need to fight your way against hundreds of monsters in an open arena outside the pyramid, it will not be easy. Each of the waves sends stronger monsters against you, first wave is just weak Imps together with Pinkies, then some Revenants with Hell Knights are about to join, later you have Arachnotrons and Cacodemons, final wave is Mancubi and Cyberdemons. Once all waves are defeated, you will have to reach a pyramind and find a final boss there - while boss itself isnt that powerful, it will also call multiple demons to help him, including everything annoying in beastiary.

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Oh, ELEMENTALISM - a great and complex DOOM II WAD with 15+1 levels currently packed into 3 very different episodes, all of these are quite difficult and demanding for a player to be completed, same goes with your rig. The Fire Realm is set on some sort of volcanic land, full of ash, dark skybox with flames in the background, there is no visible vegetation - in overall quite a depressive place with industrial setting, its easy to get hurt here. All of the levels will give you a proper challenge in almost every category - you have multiple monsters of every possible tier since the beginning, some maps have even multiple Cyberdemons guarding you from progressing. Beginning from the start, The Ashen Steppe is a typical starter map, the shortest one without any boss monster that can block your path, but as the level ends it becomes more and more difficult, especially the final corridor ambushes. The second map (Cauldron Of Azar) is in my opinion the most difficult one even if we play with no pistol start, this map has multiple Cyberdemons and very nasty ambushes, its also not so hard to fall down to the lava. After that one level we reach the Steamclock Labyrinth that can a quite misleading level because its a maze where we have to explore multiple rooms inside a cube, amazing idea but also another pretty difficult level where its easy to die. When you reach an elevator leave this labyrinth, the penultimate level of this episode is way easier than last two, but this one has a total of FOURTEEN SECRETS to explore, one of them is really tricky and you must find 3 hidden switches before. But of course it does not mean that level IS THAT easy as you might think, there are multiple Cyberdemons + lots of weaker monsters, in fact it is not so difficult to die in this level because of ambushes and lava in lots of places. Once you reach an exit, its a time for a final boss of this episode - and trust me, when you play this without any gameplay modifications, this final fight is a real nightmare a Doomguy must endure to survive.

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. The Red Moon is a fast oriented but also a rather small map with focus on the quick gameplay, like lots of Tormentor667 maps this is a simply beautiful map with a nice usage of textures. This level takes place in the void that might resemble the Doom Eternals level 7 called MARS CORE, even the beautiful Skybox resembles it a lot, this is a great map to play and try. Red Moon occupies the third slot of the Austerity mappack (it has a total of three, medium sized and long levels that might take up to 20-25 minutes) and in my opinion it is a real piece of the art. Even though the map only has a one secret just near the end, it will be good for you to grab it because a free Soulsphere just near the final fight is a Gods gift, especially on the map like this. It has a total of 400+ monsters on the Ultra-Violence difficulty level, lots of these monsters are these that love to give you a challenge, same with the monster placements like Chaingunners on walls above you. Some of the encounters might give you a small headache at first, for example an arena with a trap trigger with suddenly teleporting 4 Mancubi to the room + Cacodemons coming from the outside to assault you. There is also a pretty nasty surprise just near an end of the map when you want to open the door to the next room and suddenly behind you there is a Cyberdemon spawned, if you cant hear it, you will get a rocket to your back. Map has pretty much everywhere ambushes and fight present for you, thankfully the map is pretty straightforward and its hard to get lost, still some of the gifts from monsters might give you a nice headache, especially teleports. Fight your way till you reach a corridor with pool of lava, to the left you will find a last set of doors - once you open it, the boss of this level awaits, dispose it as soon as possible because its annoying.
