PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with Doom 1 Remaster Demo by StalkerBlade on the Man and a Half difficulty level, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Ok this is quite a big thing to play because there are not so many Doom 1 Episodes remade/remastered with DOOM 2 assets like monsters and weapons, but this also has upgraded map layouts together with fresh textures. Currently out of the first episode we have five maps available (E1M1, E1M4, E1M9, E1M5, E1M8 in this order) with a very similar map layouts for everyone who played these maps lots of the times (like me, had no problems with secrets at all). But few things have been changed and are not so familiar 1 to 1 with vanilla maps, few secrets had been merged or removed because they were too easy, some were replaced with something else like a different mechanism to trigger. For example if you remember these 3 secrets in 1 from E1M5 with Chainsaw, RadSuit and Soulsphere it had been merged in one with a different mechanism to trigger it, no more fake walls because you have to find a teleporter on map. In case of the Soulsphere from E1M9 hidden behind a very easy fake wall, this time you have to perform a little bit of platforming slides, but it's still something not too difficult when you look around a room. Unfortunately in case of the E1M9 Military Base one of the secrets cannot be triggered, if you remember an underground room reachable by a hidden elevator that connects two corridors, welp it might be really difficult to trigger it. Levels have practically the same amount of monsters on maps, so it might be rather quick for a player to finish the levels, I honestly can't wait for more maps by StalkerBlade to be released, especially his reimagining of Shores Of Hell. In overall this is a fantastic demo mappack with five maps to play, if you are familiar with vanilla maps you would finish all of them in ~20 minutes, this is a great trip to the past with new details added to the maps. And the E1M9 ending is something really appreciated, this is how portal to the Deimos might have been looking in ID Software's minds - a true portal to Deimos base that floats above Hell itself.
