PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and DOOM REDUX by _bryan on Man And A Half Difficulty level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). DOOM REDUX is a very large map/project that in current state is clearly unfinished, if you grab a Computer Map (or type a simple cheat), you might see that there are several areas that are closed to a player. Map has over 700+ monsters spawned over the time (they do spawn during your playthrough gradually, to avoid summoning all monsters since the beginning) what is a great thing to decrease performance spikes. Level has several parts known distuinguishable from maps known all over the classic DOOM, you might recognize the E1M1 Hanger just at the beginning, in the midway of the map you will also find the MAP01 Entryway. Later you will find yourself among places such as Computer Station, huge outside areas with some sort of underground complex where layout of first level of TNT Evilution appears, and this is a turning point of this WAD. Because at the end you will encounter a strange hellish presence inside an UAC mountain complex, that maze of caves, lava and hellish growth closely resembles the E3M2 Slough of Despair, but way more claustrophobic. The WAD in the current state has a one big drawback - it ends in the place when you want to explore more because it clearly shows the merge of Hell and Earth realms, and then suddenly there is a message about an end of demo. Map begins outside but... well, it looks way different than we might imagine - it does not begin on Mars or Phobos, this is an Earth with UAC installation somewhere, but it has been attacked by the demons. The WAD is really complex and might give you a small headache because of how many corridors and doors there are you can find on your way, sometimes you might have to backtrack to the area you previously explored (but there are monsters). As for the secrets, two of them are difficult to trigger, some of them are rather easy like the Minigun where you just have to jump, Megaarmor hidden in the alcove or the shaft with some ammo and health hidden.

DOOM II Hell Unleashed DEMO by MikeyScoots on the Ultra-Violence Difficulty Level with 100% Secrets Acquired (the secret with megamap is bugged as these are 3 secrets in one). This is a one level demo of the upcoming WAD with MAP04 Focus being currently available to play, and in my opinion this is a really great demo to try. The level takes over 20 minutes to play, you have to find 4 keys before an exit, you have lots of custom monsters with Nashgore and quite limited arsenal. The level is of course expanded a lot with lots of areas to explore and new OTEX texture set that comes with the WAD. We begin as always in a small room, when we open the first door, its stuck - but after a while it opens fully to give you a Pump-Action Shotgun. As we go further, suddenly all of the Zombies return from the dead and attack you - you are surrounded but with this new trusty shotgun you can fend off the attacks. You have two places to go - take a traditional route to get the blue keycard hidden in a hidden compartment or use a new elevator to reach a green keycard upstairs. This level also has ventilation shafts to take some shortcuts while playing this level and it is a fantastic addition. The yellow and red keycards need a quite longer routes with more traps and ambushes like sudden Hell Knight appearances or Fire Imps that throw even deadlier fireballs (but also explode nicely as a pile of meat). Some of the new monsters can be quite troublesome like the newly added Nailgunner who is quite resilient and also drops a Needle Grenade upon death just for trolling you and others. When you have all keys its time to exfiltrate and leave the area to reach the Waste Tunnels :).

DOOM 2 Recreation Project is an 8 level long WAD that recreates DOOM II levels by expanding them and adding some rooms to them, plus as you can see in them MAP13 Downtown, its not as bad as it was before. First map is slightly expanded with adding a two new rooms, keeping the secrets as same as before, the level is also slightly more difficult but in overall its in my opinion still a vanilla style easy first level. The Underhalls are pretty much the same as before with little additions to the level, but its also a first time with added Hell Knights such early in the game to face it. Third map is slightly changed with adding some nice texture work to it + a switch to open the place to Megaarmor, a quite fast level but also might be difficult due to more monsters than before. The Focus is greatly expanded with adding some new rooms plus a path for obtaining the blue keycard is way longer than before, plus its a really dark level so flashlight addon might be recommended. Waste Tunnels its another slightly changed and expanded map, it also changes few secrets a little bit, the level might also feel harder than before but it might be just my prejudice. The Crusher however is probably the most changed level so far with many changed areas and new rooms, completely different outdoor area in parking lot and a quite bit different final of this level. Downtown being probably one of the frustrating and confusing levels of DOOM 2 has a nice look overhaul, map resembles more a residential area than before with adding some offices, bathrooms and stores to explore. And of course, Icon of Sin at the end of this demo, just destroy it for good till it dies.

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and BLOOD COMPLEX for DOOM II Hell On Earth by K-Doom on Man And A Half Difficulty level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset, 100% Secrets Achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Blood Complex is a fairly difficult single map where the health, ammunition and armor can be quite scarce, there are also the custom monsters plus weapons added to the roster so prepare for a nice trip :). The level itself can be fairly difficult and quite crazy sometimes due to the heavy damage done by the custom monsters, they are also quite tough in lots of situations like really massive ambushes. The map has a total of 10 secrets for you to explore and my opinion you should get all of them because without them it gets fairly difficult, some of them are really nasty when encountered. Custom red pinkies (not these from Project Brutality) deal a lot of damage and they can quickly tear you down from 200/200 with just few attacks, when they leap towards you, you are in the real world of hurt. The unique DIABOLIST that luckily for us appears only once in the super secret area, is a really tough and annoying enemy that will simply make your live a nightmare to stand, deals incredible amounts of damage. Very rare Super Shotgun Guys appearing only in few places can easily tear you down with just few shots, thankfully you are going to meet them only in few places and they are not good at long range. The other custom monster is the flying variant of Mancubus that is slow like the original but its damage output is really big, thankfully for us they are also very rare to find. As I mentioned at the beginning, this map is full of really difficult encounters, lots of them are unfair for the player, for example imagine tons of invisible Cacodemons spawning just in front of you :).
