PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and BLOOD COMPLEX for DOOM II Hell On Earth by K-Doom on Man And A Half Difficulty level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset, 100% Secrets Achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Blood Complex is a fairly difficult single map where the health, ammunition and armor can be quite scarce, there are also the custom monsters plus weapons added to the roster so prepare for a nice trip :). The level itself can be fairly difficult and quite crazy sometimes due to the heavy damage done by the custom monsters, they are also quite tough in lots of situations like really massive ambushes. The map has a total of 10 secrets for you to explore and my opinion you should get all of them because without them it gets fairly difficult, some of them are really nasty when encountered. Custom red pinkies (not these from Project Brutality) deal a lot of damage and they can quickly tear you down from 200/200 with just few attacks, when they leap towards you, you are in the real world of hurt. The unique DIABOLIST that luckily for us appears only once in the super secret area, is a really tough and annoying enemy that will simply make your live a nightmare to stand, deals incredible amounts of damage. Very rare Super Shotgun Guys appearing only in few places can easily tear you down with just few shots, thankfully you are going to meet them only in few places and they are not good at long range. The other custom monster is the flying variant of Mancubus that is slow like the original but its damage output is really big, thankfully for us they are also very rare to find. As I mentioned at the beginning, this map is full of really difficult encounters, lots of them are unfair for the player, for example imagine tons of invisible Cacodemons spawning just in front of you :).

BRUTAL PACK v10 and Threshold of Pain by Kan3 for DOOM II Hell On Earth on the Ultra-Violence difficulty level 100% Secrets Achieved. Brutal Pack is one of these mods that is really similar to Brutal Doom but yet somehow different, you will notice it starting this mod that its surely Brutal but not a Brutal Doom anymore for sure. The movement and tilt (customizable) can give you some immersion, Brutal Pack is also different in terms of combat - its more arcadey and proper aiming is not that important at all, just more dakka. You also have an access to the Doomslayers equipment like Shoulder Mounted Grenade Launcher and Flame Belch, both of these are extremely helpful as both of them deal high damage and recharge rather quickly. However you also must keep in mind that some enemies like Cyberdemons are completely immune to both Grenades and Flame Belch, while others like Pinkies, Zombies or Imps are simply devastated by them. Some of the monsters also received changes in their attacks, for example Pinkies and Hell Knights need to stop for a while before charging you with their teeth and fists, you might even find the Rocket Launcher Zombies. As for the weapons they are standard with your Assault Rifle at the beginning, then both types of shotguns (Pump-Action and Super), then Heavy Assault Rifle, a Minigun, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle and the BFG that is an ultimate weapon. But Plasma Rifle and the BFG do not share the same ammo pool anymore, and Plasma Rifle here is a really strong weapon that has no big issues with taking down such heavy monsters like Cyberdemons or Spider Masterminds, you will like it. The monsters in Brutal Pack are also in my opinion way more dangerous, for example the Arch-Vile attacks are extremely devastating and for a brief moment I was also shocked that my Doomguy almost died while having tons of health and armor.

BRUTAL DOOM v21 together with Dox Personalized Addon and Lunar Mining Project Revisited by Razor-Wind played on the Ultra-Violence difficulty level with 100% Secrets achieved. Another level recreated by RazoR-Wind, this time we play the Lunar Mining Project Revisited MAP23 from TnT Evilution, the level is much larger than before with added labirynth, hellish rooms and more secrets to explore. We are also able to pick up all of the weapons from roster up to the BFG that was not possible in Lunar Mining Project before, there are also several weapon and ammo stashes (typical for Razor-Wind) to find accross the map. There is a yellow skull key to find at the end of the level to trigger an exit that was not in original map, I was also quite surprised that the teleporter was not a portal to the boss level (another trademark by Razors maps). You begin with blue locked door behind you, just in the hallway filled with basic Zombies, nothing to be too difficult but because we play with Brutal Doom these Shotgunners surely deal a lot of damage when close to you. Run and hide behind covers when needed, enter a mess hall to your left and press USE at food to eat it and replenish your health when needed, it surely patches you up from bullet holes as expected after some shooting. Your first key needed to grab is the yellow keycard to the east in the basement, there is also a secret armor hidden in the shaft to your left just nearby the key, really small secret that you cant miss. The first four secret out of six you can easily reach in a matter of few minutes - first one is a hidden chainsaw behind fake wall just near start, second is a Bersek Pack on top of the boxes, third mentioned armor bonuses and last is Armor behind a crack. When you have the yellow key head to the mines where the red key is located, you will have to walk through a small maze (you can also grab first Megaarmor here) and return by an elevator, then head west to open large door and ammo stash nearby. There you will have to dive down in toxic slime (BioHazard Suit is nearby) and get a blue keycard, when you return you will notice that Arch-Vile with company emerges from nowhere, take them down and return to the place you began level. You will see a portal to the Hellish dimension with last two secrets to explore - a Soulsphere behind a portal and Invincibility Sphere on the pillar, go straight to the Chapel, pick skull key, finish the bosses and exfiltrate.

Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Welcome to the Elysiums Curse, a 6 map long mappack with pretty challenging levels, trust me that on the Ultra-Violence equivalent this mappack can give you a worthy challenge as since the beginning it throws lots of stuff at you. Honestly there is no difficulty curve as even the first level might appear as one the most difficult in the mappach as you start with pretty much nothing and there are already Revenants, Pan Elementals and some Arch-Viles too. First level also has a pretty tough final arena fight at the end when you are about to reach the exit, to your left and right suddenly there are teleported lots of Revenants, few Minigunners, Mancubi and few Hell Knights, ouch. It is quite mandatory in this level to grab the only two secrets, the Berserk Pack to boost your health pretty early in the level and a Plasma Rifle because you need that weapon before a final, grab it when you can, trust me. The second level also gives you quite a headache but is also way shorter, you will find your first Backpack/Upgrade here so grab it by shooting a small button nearby, the only problematic part of this map is just at the end, TONS of enemies. Third map returns you to the area from the beginning of this mappach but with a new area to explore, this map has no secrets but also a pretty tought fight when about to leave, dozens of Barons Of Hell and even THREE Cyberdemons, yikes!. Fourth map has two pretty easy secrets but only if you have a flashlight or you set your brightness quite high as you need to find to find a way to them, map is divided between a dark room with mazes and vast open area with 3/4 of monsters. Penultimate map has a bugged secret sector (fixed in RC2) where a switch counts as a secret but you cant of course move there, a really short map where we have to find two demon skull keys, its also in my opinion pretty easy compared to others. The final level however is by far the hardest one as you begin with a Cyberdemon placed straight ahead of you, in case of pistol start this level can be a nightmare, lots of traps here because demons are teleported here to screw you up!
