It's Maria's will. Normally Alice kind of sucks when not doing a combo or heavy attacks.
Once you get used to playing, most of the characters you play with though are pretty decent.
The Debug Mode can't go beyond this limit of 999 for hp or attacks and what's worse is that attacking or recovering will reset the damage regardless. so I broke the limit. However Defense or Muteki seem to not work (unless it was only for bosses to use) .Now she will have the power to over make them gone as she wants them gone to make them DISAPPEAR! DISAPPEAR!
There is at least a few unused stages in the game which make me wonder if they were planning more things. Project Arms GAME REMAKE WHEN?
