Professional Voice Coach Works on My Voice | Full Voice Lesson starts at [3:42 Minutes].
This voice lesson was back from 9-29-2013. I made it through one round of American Idol so I was going back for my second audition. I knew I had some areas that could use improvement and I was confused on what vocal techniques were correct for healthy singing. In particular, I was looking to find more of an edge behind my sound.
because my previous training was classical and I knew it wouldn't wow the judges.
I went to a phenomenal and professional vocal Instructor, my great friend Nancy Baumgartner. I was amazed at what she was able to do with my voice within one hour.

2. Consistent Air Control [4:00 Minutes]
3. Placement and Resonance Spaces While Singing [6:00 Minutes]
4. Vibrato Controlling Your Sound [9:15 Minutes]
5. Fixing a Break in the Voice [12:12 Minutes]
6. Vocal Technique the Professionals are Using [17:25 Minutes]
7. Audition Song for American Idol - What Producers are Looking For [19:00 Minutes]
8. Find a True Mix -- stop switching from chest to head voice [22:35 Minutes]
9. Discovering My Chest Voice [25:58 Minutes]
10. Finding my Pop Voice [27:35 Minutes]
11. Testing How Much to Use Abs While Singing [31:25 Minutes]
12. How to Hit High Notes [34:25 Minutes]
I recorded this video just for personal use...never thought I would post it. That being said it isn't great camera footage but the concepts and training are all there. Really this is most beneficial for me, but I thought I would share in case there was someone else out there with the same confusions I had behind correct singing.
