On Sunday 8/6/23 - in Saint Augustine, Florida I was standing on the public sidewalk peacefully protesting Buc-ee’s anti truck driver policy when the manger of Buc-ee’s called the Saint Johns County Sheriff’s Department on me. The Buc-ee’s manager was convinced that the SJC Sheriff’s Department would remove me from the area and stop my peaceful protest despite the fact that I was standing on a traditional public forum. At least 5 SJC Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene including Deputy Burns who is the SJC Sheriff’s Department’s First Amendment Professor. Full Video Coming Soon!
