And before someone mentions it in the comments: yes, this is a cut-rate (dare I say, "knockoff") version of Mr. Microphone that you can build yourself! Be your own radio DJ! Drive the neighbors up the wall!
You could easily build the circuit into something else or modify it (add tuning capability, etc.).
