Prodrive's ATD ( Active Torque Dynamics) system, is here fitted to a high performance four wheel drive car. The system controls active front, centre and rear differentials to enhance the handling of the vehicle helping to reduce understeer and making the car more stable at higher speeds. It makes the car respond more faithfully to steering inputs.
Prodrive has fitted ATD to more than dozen prototype demonstrator vehicles from high performance front wheel drives, to rear wheel drive sports cars, SUVs and even 50 tonne six wheeler quarry trucks.
