Private Idiots is a 9 episode original series PI comedy set in current-day Toronto. The series focuses on two PI’s following a scientist who may be a key figure in the corona-19 pandemic.
The two PI’s run their own outfit called Hammerhead Investigations. Their main focus is blue-collar crime; petty theft, missing persons, cheating spouses - etc.
The PI Nature of the show allows our characters to get heavily invested in the polarizing topics of 2020. During the series, the character’s egos, motives, and pride clash in hilarious ways, but ultimately the two PIs use their differences and abilities to come together and solve the case. Together, somehow, they are a formidable team.
