Thanks for everyone's help now able to print from host system to teleprinter and recieve data from the Teleprinter but now the issue is with recieving the data on my host system. I'm using a 25 pin connector with DTR to DSR and DCD all tied together, and RTS to CTS also tied together. (Thanks to NkizzProductions)
Printing from host is perfect.
Recieving data at host system is strange with numeric 0-9, LF, CR working perfectly but the QWERTY characters are displaying strange graphics characters.
Using the latest build of Teraterm COM5, 300, 7bits, No Parity, 1bit (also tried 2 bits)

Problem fixed Changed the Receive Coding to UTF-8m
