It was great to be back at Yorkshire Wildlife Park working with a large team to create these primate T-Feeders. During the two-hour team-building event, the group were tasked with building as many T-Feeders as they could in the time. Each group started with one T and two mesh boxes, with more available to construct as the groups finished the initial feeder. Each device has a jaw-jaw swivel at the top, which is used to hang the feeder, as well as allowing it to rotate as it is used.
And as expected, the lemurs were straight on them. The feeders were hung on the pulley systems that we installed a couple of years back, allowing them to be lifted up high and encouraging the lemurs to climb. As the group made so many, some of the T's will also be used on other primates around the park.
A huge well done to the team, you all did amazing!
