We've now made these switch bot feeders (timed feeders) at a couple of locations, but this awesome Team Building event at Woburn was the first time we have had a corporate group make them, and this team were more than up to the challenge. Split into two teams, each group create one device, allowing us to take two of them down to the otters to be put to the test.
The device is fairly simple; it uses a switch bot, which can be controlled via an app, to release a box of food. The box tips, causing the food to fall down into the mesh box at the bottom. The great thing about this is that it can be set on timers for any time during the day, particularly useful for when keepers aren't around, such as overnight.
A huge well done to the team for creating these. You did an amazing job, and the animals will benefit from your efforts for a long time to come.
