Pete's review of Primal Hunt on Meta Quest 2. Phaser Lock Interactive's bow-hunting dinosaur shooter, from the studio behind the N64 classic Turok and the VR hit Final Assault. The premise is gloriously daft - cybernetically enhanced raptors with sniper rifles, a T-Rex lumbering past your hiding spot - but the bow mechanics feel weak next to In Death: Unchained, and a 20-hour campaign is stretched out by a gatekeeping progression system offering 2% stamina boosts for your grind. 6/10, fossilised.
