Fourth episode and four more story missions to go! Layers keep getting added into the loop and things definitely got heated once Vijay Bhatia's mission confirmed Claire Whitten was the Kasma spy. The game may have tipped its hand the second it made us finish the security officer's story before we could play as her, but I was still surprised she left us an antidote after everything she had already done. With the poison timer, the escape pod choice, Riley Yu's consciousness upload, and trying to set up the next survivors for the full gauntlet, this episode had a lot more going on than I expected. I do think Joan Winslow might be my favorite to play as though, because fixing broken doors and getting systems back online scratches an itch I barely touched in the base game 😂
p.s. are the footsteps as soothing for yall as they are for me? I think this game has some of the most appealing sound design!
