Middle Tennessee State University is launching a new program, a Master of Science in Legal Studies, collaborating with the Nashville School of Law to offer three concentrations (Business Law; Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud and Compliance; and Entertainment). Designed for full-time working professionals who seek deeper legal knowledge but do not intend to practice law, students will take classes on Monday evenings on NSL’s campus in Nashville for part of the program and online courses at MTSU to complete the 30-hour degree requirements. While this program does not lead to bar exam eligibility or licensure to practice law, it offers the opportunity to cultivate career-enhancing legal fluency, knowledge, and critical thinking skills for leadership in today’s regulated and litigated business environment.
