As students spend more time learning, connecting, and seeking support online, the same tools that help them thrive can also be used for harm—including sextortion, trafficking, and other forms of technology-facilitated abuse. 

School-based professionals can help prevent harm and respond early by strengthening supportive relationships, teaching digital safety, recognizing warning signs, and knowing what to do when there’s a concern.
