BECOME A PATRON: patreon.com/joshfossgreen
Big thanks to everybody for listening, it's a pleasure to share music with you all!
I wrote this tune in 2009 or so. The name actually comes from the harmony of the song - the first two chords are Asus (sus stands for suspended) and A major, so the dominant sound is of the 4th scale degree resolving down to the 3rd. My 19-year-old self thought it would be very clever to name the piece after the harmony, as a sort of vague meditation on the flow of tension and release that permeates the experience of humans and other living creatures.
This was recorded in one continuous take with no edits on my Peavey Cirrus with Garageband, with no effects except a little compression and reverb.
