Ive spent my professional career educating adolescents whove been diagnosed with Emotional/Behavioral disorders as defined by Special Education law. That passion has lead me to write my first book DAMSEL DISTRESSED about Imogen, a young woman whos living with clinical depression and general anxiety disorder. Im also half of Wedding Day Rain, an indie-pop / singer-songwriter duo with my husband, and weve written an album of original songs, IMOGEN UNLOCKED, that will be released alongside (and within) the novel itself. Bringing hope to young people who might otherwise feel alone is my greatest ambition.
