ABOUT ME:
Hey there. I'm Kelsey. I'm a middle school teacher, YA Novelist (11 months 'til publication!) and I am SO excited to share this video in support of NoStigmas.
I've spent my professional career educating adolescents who've been diagnosed with Emotional/Behavioral disorders as defined by Special Education law. That passion has lead me to write my first book DAMSEL DISTRESSED about Imogen, a young woman who's living with clinical depression and general anxiety disorder. I'm also half of Wedding Day Rain, an indie-pop / singer-songwriter duo with my husband, and we've written an album of original songs, IMOGEN UNLOCKED, that will be released alongside (and within) the novel itself.
Bringing hope to young people who might otherwise feel alone is my greatest ambition.
