Humphrey Wittingtonsworth IV | Press-fit Magnet Strength Demonstration at Sharon Summer 2017 @HumphreyWittingtonsworthIV | Uploaded August 2017 | Updated October 2024, 19 hours ago.
Go to 3:22 to see the toughness of the technique!!
I demonstrate a simple concept of press-fit magnets, and how only 1.5mm of plastic can withstand lots of force before dislodging.
Pressfit magnets will be featured in the Z-Man Galaxy and Volt
(Disclaimer: There were some issues with prototypes which were not properly pressed in prototype Galaxy Megaminixes, the technique was not perfected)
You can see people using two hands to push out the magnet, as well as trying to smack it out with a screwdriver, with only slight success. After many tries, people only managed to knock out one magnet!
I had to cancel this test because Roger got hurt, and there was a scary amount of blood, but the technique of press-fit magnets allow for magnetic puzzles which will withstand tons of abuse without dislodging!
Also, I don't care about subs or popularity.
I just want to practice and get good times and have fun.
So, I'm going to shout out random channels and people at the end of my videos. Because I just don't care, and other people deserve attention too, esp those with low sub counts.
