President Yoweri Museveni has joined the people of Tooro and Uganda in general to mourn the demise of Tooro King Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru IV who breathed his last in US.
In a document released, the president extended condolences to the Royal Family, the people of Tooro and to all Ugandans upon the King’s death at such a young age of 34.
He revealed that the Queen Mother Best Kemigisa had informed him that the Omukama had cancer and Government supported them to go to Germany and, then, the USA where he died.
The President commended Omukama Oyo for working well with the Central Government.
He has directed that Omukama be given an official burial and all the flags fly at half-mast, for three days; the day of the burial, the day before and the day after.
