After servicing this 8-10 year old set, it was time to test it.

Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point to test UK FM CEPT FM & then CEPT AM as a static test. The radio was set for 4.0W. The factory mike was used throughout.


Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
