I'll die on this hill: Prerelease is the best way to experience Magic.

Not because it's the most competitive. Not because you'll build the strongest deck.

Because for one weekend, everyone is discovering the set together.

After a pretty rough week, I walked into my LGS just hoping to clear my head. I left with a 1-2 record... and somehow felt like I'd won anyway.

Prerelease has this incredible way of turning strangers into teammates, game actions into conversations, and a few hours of cardboard into exactly the reset I needed.
