Early in October I was down in Florida and while visiting a farm they were prepping a field and planting Chinese Lettuce. I was able to get some footage of the process at the started out building ridges with their John Deere 8295R Tractor and 3 point hitch tool. After this tractor and tool made its passes they came along with their John Deere 6175R Tractor and a 3 point hitch tool that would level off the ridges. After this I then head over to another field as they are running a John Deere 6110M Tractor with a 3 point hitch tool that rolls along and leaves a spot to drop in the plants. As you can see they have a crew hustling along dropping the plants in the ground. I was told this crop will be ready to harvest in approximately 60 days.
