Today didn’t go quite as planned—we headed to the local farm store, excited to bring home some baby chicks, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any in stock. Even though we came home empty-handed, we still got to work preparing their future space in the mudroom, making sure it’s all set for when they do arrive!
After that, we tackled some yard cleanup, getting things in order as we transition into a new season. We wrapped up the day in the best way possible—gathered around a warm campfire, roasting hot dogs, listening to music, and soaking in a peaceful evening outdoors.
