We finally decided to move the chicken coop closer to the house—and let me tell you, this setup already feels like a game-changer.
In this video, you’ll see my family and I, putting together a new chicken run. This time around, the process was smoother thanks to a little more experience and a better understanding of what our chickens (and we) really need.
Living on a one-acre lot has its perks, but the long walk to the back of the property to collect eggs—especially in bad weather—was becoming more of a challenge than a joy. Our goal with this new setup was simple: make caring for our chickens easier and bring them a little closer to home so we can enjoy them more without the added hassle.
