I’m in the home of Gavin and Stacey, Barry Island, South Wales, and I’m spending the night at the Premier Inn Barry Island Cardiff Airport. How much did it cost, and was it worth it?

Before checking into the Premier Inn, I looked around Barry and some of the locations used in the comedy series. These include the three houses on Trinity Street: Gwen and Stacey’s house, Doris’s House, and Uncle Bryn’s house across the road.

Then it’s down to Barry Island to look at Marco’s Cafe and Nessa’s Slots.

At the Premier Inn, I stay in a standard room for a Sunday night. Across the road were some food and bars in the Goodsheds and the Pumphouse.
