The Best Fish & Chips? Hikary’s Fish Bar in Neath, South Wales has been named one of the Top Fish & Chip Takeaways in the UK… so we had to see if it lives up to the hype!

We take a short drive to Neath to try the award-winning chips and find out whether this local chip shop truly deserves its place among the UK's best fish and chips.
We order cod and chips, sausage and chips, and of course, Irish curry sauce. Mel wasn’t with us, so no tomato ketchup with the chips.
Is it really that good? And more importantly… was it worth the drive?
Hikary’s Fish Bar is takeaway only, so we take the chips to Gnoll Country Park to eat them by the lake. Luckily, the rain holds off for an hour, giving us time to eat the food in the dry.
