Get this pre-intermediate Russian reader here: boostyourrussianbooks.com The Anna Karenina adapted graded reader comes in pdf format with two downloadable audio files - in slow Russian and regular speed Russian.
ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
I have a series of graded Russian readers that are available in four levels of difficulty: elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate and advanced. In this video, we’ll be reading the first chapter of the pre-intermediate reader Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.
Reading Russian classics is always a challenge for Russian learners because of the outdated words and grammar. Don't worry, this Russian is not going to be too difficult because it has been adapted to modern Russian, and thus, you'll be able to read and understand it if your level of Russian is pre-intermediate or above. I´ll be narrating it in slow Russian and this is a great chance for you to practice your Russian listening skills because adapted texts and slow audio is always a winning combination when it comes to learning Russian.
