This video explores the most extreme armored animals in prehistoric times, including the mummified nodosaur Borealopelta, the killer sharp-jawed placoderm Dunkleosteus, the armored titanosaur Alamosaurus, and more. The strength of ankylosaur armor is tested by cutting-edge biomechanical studies, and it turns out that Borealopelta was such a tough animal that it could survive getting hit by a car moving fifty kilometers an hour.
