Gaming will undoubtedly be a huge use-case for Praydog’s mod, but the use cases go far beyond gaming and it's really exciting to imagine how it will be used to grow VR!
I could see classrooms using it to say, walk through this perfectly 1:1 recreation of the Titanic (Titanic: Project 401) for history class (there's so many incredible projects like this), real-estate agents looking at a house with it, developers using it to instantly see how their game might work if they invested in a full VR port (something that could take weeks even for someone knowledgable about VR development), patients in the hospital seeing the fresh air of the beach in a gorgeous UE5 demo, etc.

There will even be a real-time mode where the ship sinks and you can see how that happens / what it would have been like to experience that. I can only imagine just how powerful that would be in VR.
