I’ve insisted for years to practice Vertical Fire rolling for days like today when everything horizontal is wet or covered in snow and ice. Also, when you can't find any suitable horizontal flat surfaces to bottom board on, consider the vertical surfaces... smooth bark trees, thick bark, boulders, etc.
