Paper Cuts: Paper Prototying from OSRPG* to CRPG

For every CRPG that sees the light of day, there's countless others that fall by the wayside, due to lack of support, resources, and sometimes, even a team. This talk delves deep into the past, encompassing all the "old school" RPG tricks and paper methodology we used at Black Isle Studios to flesh out a modern day CRPG, essentially making a vertical slice of the mechanics, creatures, level design reactivity - as well as where the process stumbled, succeeded, and its relevance in today's RPG industry.
