What happens when you convert a video of part of a favorite video game to a video format, known as Cinepak, that has not been updated since 1993 and at only 256 colors? You end up with this!
Here is the intro from the 2005 Sega game, Shadow the Hedgehog, from Sonic Team! Overall, the very limited color pallet seems to work with this one.

This time, we have the colorful CG and anime intro from the RPG Grandia, released in 1997 on the Sega Saturn and then in 1999 on the Playstation. Once again, Cinepak and the small color pallet does not do any favors for this games opening sequence. XD

On the menu from Dr. Mack Foxx this time is the colorful animated opening video from the 2004 Gamecube and Playstation 2 game Mega Man X: Command Mission! Surprisingly, the low color pallet has produced some mixed results: sometimes things look acceptable, while at other times, the visuals practically unrecognizable!

What happens when you take a colorful video intro from an excellent video game and re-encode it in an extremely outdated video format (Cinepak) with only a pallet of 256 colors (8-bit color)? You get this!
This time, we have the awesome cinematic opening from the 2014 hit by Bungie, Destiny! It seems Cinepak has major problems handling darker colors, especially with high levels of detail. Suffice to say, this old video format and low degree of color did not treat this excellent game intro very well at all!
