What happens when you take a colorful video intro from an excellent video game and re-encode it in an extremely outdated video format (Cinepak) with only a pallet of 256 colors (8-bit color)? You get this!
This time, we have the awesome cinematic opening from the 2014 hit by Bungie, Destiny! It seems Cinepak has major problems handling darker colors, especially with high levels of detail. Suffice to say, this old video format and low degree of color did not treat this excellent game intro very well at all!

The source of the Ishimuras various mechanical failures soon turns out to be more than simple malfunctions and much more horrifying than any of them imaged.

What happens when you take the glorious intro from the 2020 video game from SquareEnix, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and encode it in one of the oldest digital video formats in existence, Cinepak? Then, also use an extremely-limited color pallet of only 256 colors? You get this mess! Suffice to say, Cinepak and this intro did not get along very well! Often, the detail was preserved, but the color was completely stripped out! A very special thanks to Commander AJ for providing the footage required for this little project.
