In this video I show how solar panels can power some AC mains type appliances by direct connection without and sort of inverter or Converter.
You can charge your Phone, power and charge a laptop, cordless tool battery and many other things as I show in this Video. Not everything works of course but pretty much everything I have come across with switch mode power supply's will.
The polarity can make a difference and some things will run at half mains voltage meaning less panels Required. Things tend to either work or not but I have personally NOT had anything let out the magic smoke nor have I heard of anyone that has.
Also show what direct DC and do for arcing and welding.
