On 6 March 2025, AMD launched its new "RDNA 4" line-up of GPUs, in the form of the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070. The launch saw the release of premium non-MSRP RX 9070 graphics cards such as the PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6.

Sporting a beefy cooler design with triple ring-blade fans, the use of a Honeywell phase-change GPU thermal pad and a heatsink assembly that employs the use of seven heat pipes for optimal heat dissipation, the Red Devil also features a smattering of LED lighting effects such as the Hellstone RGB lighting element, which is inspired by the aesthetic of gemstones.
