On 5 June 2025, AMD's new budget-friendlier "RDNA 4" GPU, the RX 9060 XT, was launched for sale to the general public. Packing significantly-improved ray tracing performance compared to its predecessors, the new RX 9060 XT is available with either 16GB or 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and is intended to give NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, the RTX 5060 TI 8GB as well as the RTX 5060 8GB a run for their money.

To get in on the launch excitement, ALKtech had the opportunity to unbox the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT GAMING OC 16G. Featuring a WINDFORCE cooler design that sports alternate-spinning triple HAWK fans, the use of server-grade thermal conductive gel and a copper contact plate with composite copper heat pipes to keep temperatures at bay, the GAMING OC is a mainstream Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card that also comes with an aesthetic "sliding plate" with RGB lighting effects for added visual flair.
