i'm so happy to upload this mep, since i absolutely adore this song and everyone followed the theme perfectly! the idea was editing with characters who have faced many struggles in their story, and who are using those struggles to become stronger. the end result is truly inspiring, and i'd like to thank everyone who joined and made this possible :')

i was undecided if i should have uploaded this or not, in the end i just went for it. idk, i think i could have done better ;w; i think ive lost the ability of doing parts longer than 12 seconds haha it was so hard finding the inspiration to finish this one xD and i also loved the song and the style required for the MEP; not to mention, i edited with my OTP. so i really had the best conditions to work with, idk what went wrong lol

this is like the fifth video i start with this anime and also the first that is finally seing the light. i am so happy i could cry. lets not talk about the fact that i have two exams on wednesday and lets just pretend that editing this was the right and responsible thing to do (tbh i couldnt focus on anything because whenever i opened a book i kept thinking i wanted to work on this, so now that its done maybe ill be able to concentrate lol)!
this anime kills me more and more every week, i swear, idk what im gonna do with my life when its over. please send help, i even teared up a bit while editing and i feel so stupid
PS: is it just me, or youtube is not sending notifications anymore? cause now, in addition to the private messages problem (the spam ones get deleted from my inbox 99% of the time and i can only see them sometimes when i get notified on my email address) im not getting ANY notification, let it be comments on videos or G+ posts or whatever

...here we go again with another edit that was not supposed to be uploaded
in short, i had been listening to this song a lot during the past couple of days, after an old addiction that i thought i had healed from, and i thought: man, id really love seeing an edit to this with some characters i like. so i looked, and there was none. i decided i could try to do something quick myself, and this is the result, after about 4 hours of editing late at night yesterday and a bit of fixing this afternoon. as i said, i did this without the intention of uploading it and this is probably why i managed to finish it fast, compared to my usual standard which when it comes to anything other than raw is EXTREMELY slow. in the end im uploading it because more bishies are always welcome after all ;)
other than that, in exactly a week, on june 24th, its gonna be my four years of editing anniversary. ive been thinking for weeks that i should do something special for it, but when i try to PLAN edits i end up never finishing them haha so starting anything now would probably be a lost cause. this is why i think im just going to post a mep collection on that day, since i have quite some parts that have been piling up since the beginning of the year and that i really should get rid of.
i hope you liked the video even though its very basic, but honestly i really enjoy this style of editing so i dont mind the fact that it maybe looks ordinary as long as i had fun! trying to convince myself here mostly, since im always terribly overcritical of my own work lol

i finished this part yesterday and i was quite happy with how it turned out, ive been debating all day whether or not i should upload it by itself but in the end im going for it haha this is another example of how for some weird reason replacement parts always end up being better than ones i had taken when the mep had first been opened
i had edited kisumi only once before, in 2017, and it was fun doing so again! i thought the song really fit him. my Free! hype since watching season 3 hasnt subsided yet, in fact it looks like a good 30% of the parts in my next collection (that i will upload... one day) are with this anime
i gotta edit another part with this song and im already crying because i had the bright idea of taking one of the rap bits, but i have inspiration for it overall. im just glad im recovering some fx editing capability after doing nothing in 2019 lol
