We're exploring the National Portrait Gallery to find our favourite 18th century paintings to discuss including portraits of Warren Hastings, Sir Eyre Coote, and Lord Cornwallis along with the meeting of Robert Clive & Mir Jafar after the Battle of Plassey. Through the lens of these paintings we discuss the beginnings of the Company Raj in India and the history behind many of these images.
