i'm in a bad mood in this run because i got hardcore robbed of 9:2x multiple times this session. i can't play this weekend so i'm glad to get this done literally right before i leave(my alarm to stop playing was like 7 minutes from going off).

This uses 02 skip which is a route that is currently banned due to lack of verification tools to ensure that no props fall out of bounds. So while it is the first sub 8, it cant be accepted to leaderboards so my 8:01 is still technically world record.
02 skip uses a glitch called ISG to go through the glass at the start of the map so you dont need to wait for the door to open. This is only possible on recent steam builds of the game, which add the ability to carry radios through map transitions(would previously crash), and the ability to toggle radios off(radio in 03 instantly falls oob if ISG is on when loading the map). A good execution of 02 skip on average saves 15-16s over the standard route, so this run is actually about 10s sloppier than my 8:01. Steam builds also change save glitch slightly, which is why you see a different 02 save glitch and a slower save glitch setup in a few other maps.

this came out of nowhere and puts me in a 13.7s lead against 2nd place, and all of this only took 3 days of serious grinding runs. also my sum of best is incorrect, actual time is 7:35.22
i planned to grind for 2 weeks and since im right on the minute barrier i will continue to play to get a 7:5x time, will be one of the last opportunities ever for one person to break 2 different minute barriers.
